I have laid before my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty your letter of the 23rd ultimo, forwarding the extract of a despatch from the Governor of Van Couver's Island, relative to the erection of Storehouses for Naval purposes in the harbour of Esquimalt, and I have it in command to acquaint you, for the information of the Duke of Newcastle, that
