I beg to acquaint you with reference to my Letter of the 16th October 1 that the Non-commissioned Officer of the Royal Artillery, the Party of Royal Engineers and a civil Male Servant may embark on board the Freight Ship, "Euphrates" at Gravesend, for passage to British Columbia, on the 5th Proximo.

I sent the Papers down to Mr Merivale as "immediate" explaining to the Messenger that they were such. The letter to the W.O. is however in time & will be sent tonight.
