San Francisco “reporting the departure of Emigrants and Merchandize” [sic] heading for the Fraser River.

Enclosed is Booker to Malmesbury advising that twenty-eight vessels with cargoes valued at £84,000 had left for Victoria in the past month, and about 24,000 people thus far for the year.
