Enclosed is Booker to FitzGerald reporting the arrival of Captain Parsons’ detachment on 16 October and their intention to leave the following day.

Mr Booker, Her Majesty's Consul at San Francisco,
announcing the arrival of Captain Parsons and 20

on their way to British Columbia.
