Gosset request that his baggage be shipped on the “Euphrates.”
The minutes “distrust” Moody’s calculations but agree to this arrangement if “he is sure there is room.” The CO “acquaints” Gosset but warns him that he would have to wait for his baggage as the “Euphrates” will not sail for a month.
Enclosed is a draft from the Colonial Office to Moody requesting him to accept Gosset’s baggage on board the “Euphrates.”

I have the honour to request that Colonel Moody may be instructed to ship my baggage in the Euphrates, there being ample space he informs me notwithstanding the late alteration in arrangements.
