Kernaghan again offers his services as Colonial Secretary for British Columbia; he is under the impression that Colony Moody had been appointed governor.
The minutes answer that Colony Moody has not been appointed governor.
As Col Moody has been appointed Govr of the new Colony I again beg to offer my Services as Colonial Sect for it referring
to my letter &
to the Memorials presented to the Foreign Office on my favor. If sent out I would
run the risk of being Secretary.
