Moody reports that the “Briseis” is ready for “the necessary instructions” so that she can proceed to Gravesend and pick up men waiting to go to British Columbia.
The minutes send the request for instruction to the Admiralty “at once.”
Enclosed is a draft from Carnarvon to the Admiralty requesting that the “Briseis” be directed to proceed to Gravesend.

I have the honor to request that the necessary instructions
may be given by the Transport Board for the "Briseis" as soon as
she has taken in her cargo, to proceed to Gravesend and there
receive the men that are going out in her to British Columbia.
