Moody to Under-Secretary of State
Liverpool
30th October 1858
Sir,
I have the honor to report that in carrying out all the authorized arrangements respecting Stores, finding minor alterations were either unavoidable or desirable none of them of sufficient moment to address the Secretary of State upon at the time, but it is very necessary these alterations should receive his final authority. I therefore beg to enclose an Amended List which will be found to "tally" with the accounts & vouchers, & which I would propose to forward with them to the Commissioners of Audit, together with the one Covering Authority from theSecretaryManuscript image Secretary of State.
I have the honor to be Sir
Yr most obedient humble Servant
R.C. Moody
Col. R.E.
