Lytton informs Douglas of the impending arrival of missionaries from the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel to British Columbia.

I have to acquaint you that the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel propose to send one or two Missionary Chaplains to British Columbia with as little delay as possible, and that the first of these Clergymen will probablyManuscript image proceed to the Colony by the Freight Ship appointed to sail on the 15th Instant.
