I have to acquaint you that the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel have selected the Reverend James Gammage to officiate amongst the mining population of British Columbia. 1
I have providedMrManuscript image Mr Gammage (who will be paid by the Society) with a passage in the ship "Thames City" which is about to take out the party of Royal Engineers to British Columbia.
