Sir,
I have duly received your Despatch No 43 of the 2nd of April, requesting me to acquaint Captain Gosset that Sixty seven pounds (£67) was due from him to the Naval Department on account of his passage from Ceylon to Southampton in May 1858, and also requestingManuscript imagerequesting that Captain Gosset would pay the above mentioned sum into the Treasury Chest, and in reference thereto I have the honor to transmit herewith for your information a letter from Captain Gosset, in which he states that your injunctions have been complied with.
