I have the honor to transmit herewith
In a box.
for your Grace's inspection, a specimen of gold weighing 4 oz. 3 dwts. which was found on Quesnelles River, and which is interesting from the fact of its being the largest Manuscript image largest piece yet found in that district of British Columbia.

A specimen of B. Columbia gold having been already sent by this Office to the Geological Museum in Jermyn Street It wd seem unnecessary to forward this specimen there.
