I have the honor to submit for Your Grace's information the following abstract of
the amount of Imports into the Colony of
British British Columbia, and of Revenue collected at the Custom House for the three months ending with the
31st day of December 1860; and also a comparative Statement of the amount of Imports and Customs Revenue for
the years
1859 and
1860.
Your Grace will observe that those Returns exhibit a large increase in the value of
imports, and in the Revenue derived from
Customs, Customs, both as compared with those of the preceding quarter and of
1859.

If those results are to be regarded as tests of the
progressive improvement of trade, and of the gradual
