We have the honor to enclose a certificate showing that Colonel R.C. Moody, Royal Engineers, was alive on the 4th April last, and request that an authority may be issued to the Paymaster General to pay the amount due to him as Chief Commissioner of Lands & Works, British Columbia, March quarter 1861.
