Newcastle writes to Douglas to confirm that, as requested earlier by Douglas, the “Articles required for the Assay and Melting office in British Columbia” have been shipped aboard the “Prince of the Seas.”

With reference to your despatch No. 98 of the 29th of November last I have to acquaint you that the Articles required for the Assay and Melting office in British Columbia were shipped on board the "Prince of the Seas" on the 14th Instant for conveyance to the colony.
