Newcastle writes to Douglas to forward documents from the “Governor of Canada” on “Salmon Fisheries,” to aid Douglas's legislation of British Columbia's fisheries.

With reference to my despatch No. 77 of the 9th of May last I have the honor to transmit to you the accompanying Acts and Reports which have been received from the Governor of Canada respecting the Salmon Fisheries in that Province; I shall be very glad if they prove of any service to you in legislating on theFisheriesManuscript image Fisheries of British Columbia.
