I have the honor to acquaint your Grace that I have authorized the Treasurer to procure by Bills on the Paymaster General, the sum of One Thousand Pounds (£1000) for the Regimental Pay of the detachment of Royal Engineers serving in British Columbia, and I have to requestyourManuscript image your Grace will issue the necessary instructions for the Bills presented on this account to be paid when they become due.
