In accordance with a resolution passed at a Public meeting, held in this City, I most respectfully beg leave to enclose to Your Grace the accompanying copy of a Memorial;withManuscript image with a request that Your Grace will use every effort to have the prayer of the Memorial granted.
The Memorial was forwarded through His Excellency Governor Douglas to Your Grace on the 17th Ulto for presentation to Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council; but it was deemed necessary to forward the enclosed, direct, to Your Grace, as on former occasions, Three MemorialshaveManuscript image have, at different periods, been sent through the same channel, to none of which has an answer been received.
