I am instructed by the Court of Directors to forward to your Grace the following paragraph taken from the Manager's letter of this Bank dated at Victoria V.I. 2nd Septr 1862 I have now to advise the Court that the Government of British Columbia has accepted my Tender for the whole amount of the Loan for £50,000 to be raised in London and I have to inform you that the Government here has advised the Colonial Office of the transaction, & has requested the Authorities there, to hand over to the Bank Debentures amounting to £50,000 in such amounts as you may desire.
I am also instructed respectfully to inquire when the said Debentures will be ready for delivery.
