With reference to your letter of 6th inst. I am commanded by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury to acquaint you that the Paymaster General has been authorized to pay to Messrs. Cox & Co on account of Col. Moody, Chief Commissioner of Lands and Works in British Columbia, the sum of £300, for Salary for Quarter to 30th June last, at the rate of £1,200 per annum.
