Will you be good enough to inform me if any further dispatch from Governor Douglas British Columbia containing a report of a reconnaissance by Captain Parsons & a party of Royal Engineers of the Country on the Smess & Chilwayhook rivers alluded to by Governor Douglas in paragraph No 10 of his dispatch May 31/60 & contd in Blue book entitled further papers relative to the affairs of British Cola part 4 presented to parliament Mar 1862 has been received & if so if it is printed & obtainable or if not printed could I see a copy of it if I should go to London.
