With reference to my despatch, No. 89 of the 22nd of October last, directing you to remit to the Colonial Agents General the sum of £67 which had been paid into the Colonial Treasury of British Columbia by Captain Gosset on account of his passage from Ceylon to England, I have to call upon you toreportManuscript image report whether this remittance has yet been made, and at what date and by what means. If it has not yet been made, you will abstain from the course of remitting the money, and it will be simpler and more convenient, on learning from you that the money is still in the Treasury Chest, to procure the issue of a corresponding amount fromtheManuscript image the Treasury in this Country.
