I have the honor to enclose, for your information and guidance, a copy of the Colonial Estimates for the present year, in which you will find, at page 5, the amount and particulars of the Vote submitted to Parliament for British Columbia.
Adverting to the progressofManuscript image of the Colony and to the growth of it's Revenue, Parliament cannot be again asked to provide for the Governor's salary. This charge must next year be defrayed out of the Colonial Revenue.
