With reference to your despatch No. 9 of the 7th of February 1862, I have the honor to acquaint you that the Paymaster General has been authorized to pay the two Bills drawn by Captain Gosset for the sum of £1000 each, on account of the Colonial Pay of the Royal Engineers.
