With reference to your Grace's Despatch No 117, 23 April last, I have the honor to transmit herewith a copy of two letters, from Colonel Moody R.E. reporting in reference to a demand for £98.10.0 on account of freight on some hayandManuscript image and oats shipped on board the Thames City, and afterwards discharged at Gravesend by direction of that Officer.

1. Colonel Moody explains that all the Forage which was paid for, except that burnt in the Briseis, has reached the Colony.
2. We must, therefore, now recommend the Treasury, to discharge the claim for the freight of the hay and oats—which was shipped on board the "Thames City."
