I have the honor to transmit to you, for the information of the Duke of Newcastle, copy of a letter from the Colonial Secretary of British Columbia, advising the Crown Agent for the Colonies of his having drawn a further sum of £5000 on account of the £50,000 Loan of 1863, and I have to request that you will furnish me with His Grace's authority for accepting the Bills for the same.
