I am commanded by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury to acquaint you that the Paymaster General has been authorized to pay (as requested in your letter of the 17th Ultimo) to Messrs Cox & Co., on behalf of Col. Moody R.E. the sum of £300 for his salary as Chief Commissioner of Lands and Works in British Columbia, for the Quarter to 30th Septr last.
