With reference to Mr Elliot's letter of 29th ulto I am commanded by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury to acquaint you that the Paymaster General has been authorized to pay to Messrs. Cox & Co on behalf of Col. Moody, Chief Commissioner of Lands and Works, British Columbia, the sum of £300, for Salary for Quarter ended 31 Decr 1862.
