With reference to my Despatch No. 28 of the 1st Instant informing you of the Appointment of Trustees for the management of the Sinking Fund of the Loan raised under the British Columbia Proclamation No. 5 of 1862, I have thehonorManuscript image honor to acquaint you that it has been decided to invest the Sums set apart for this Fund in the Consolidated Three Pounds (£3) Per Cent Annuities or in the New Three Pounds (£3) per Cent Annuities.
