Sir,
With reference to your despatch No. 26 of the 9th of May last, I have the honor to acquaint you that I have laid before the Queen the undermentioned Proclamation which was transmitted with your despatch No. 46 of the 4th of November last—viz No. 7 the Lytton Alexandria Tolls Act 1862.
I am commanded to acquaint you that Her Majesty has been pleased to confirm andallowManuscript image allow this Proclamation.
You will communicate Her Majesty's decision upon this Proclamation to the inhabitants of the Colony in the usual and most authentic manner.
