I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your despatch No. 27 of the 13th of May enclosing transcripts of two Proclamations entitled respectively "The Roads Bonds Act 1863" (No. 51) and "The Military and Naval Settlers Act 1863" (No. 52).
I have laid these Proclamations before the Queen and Her MajestyhasManuscript image has been pleased to confirm and allow them.
You will communicate Her Majesty's decision to the Inhabitants of British Columbia in the usual manner.
