In reply to Mr Elliot's letter of 19th inst I am commanded by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury to acquaint you that the Paymaster General has been authorized to pay to Messrs. Cox & Co as Agents for Col. Moody, the sum of £146.14.9, for his Salary as Chief Commissioner of Lands and Works in British Columbia, from 1st Oct to 14 Novr last.
