I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of your despatch No. 69 of the 13th of November notifying the approaching departure from the Colony of the Officers of the detachment of Royal Engineers which has been stationed there together with such noncommissioned Officers and men as have notacceptedManuscript image accepted their discharge.
A copy of this despatch as recording your sense of the abilities and conduct of the Officers, noncommissioned Officers and men of the detachment, has been forwarded to the Secretary of State for War.
