Finding the proper Instruments in Store I have established, without expense, a small observatory at Government House. I have the honor to submit the result of the Meteorological Observations taken for January. I propose to lay before you MonthlycorrespondingManuscript image corresponding Returns.
2. I may state, in forwarding the first observations, that this Winter is considered to be one of more than average severity.
