In obedience to the Commands conveyed in your despatch No. 56 of 18th December 1864, I have the honor to forward a receipt from the Treasurer for the sum of one hundred andninetyManuscript image ninety seven 14s/- (£197.14) being the amount of Salary drawn by me from the date of my departure from England until I assumed the Government of this Colony.
