With reference to Governor Seymour's despatch No. 50 of 24th September 1864, to which no answer has been received, I have the honor to transmit, for the consideration of Her Majesty's Secretary of State for War, copy of furthercorrespondenceManuscript image correspondence which has been addressed to me on the subject of Messrs Clarke & Skinner's claim for compensation.
