I have received your Despatch marked "Separate" of 20th March. The regret with which I found at first that you had omitted to state facts which, in recommending Captain Holmes you ought not to have kept back, has not been diminished by the tone of the letters whichyouManuscript image you have addressed to me in answer to my Communications on this to me, very painful subject.
