Sir,
I have the honor to forward an Authenticated and two plain Copies of an Ordinance of the present Session of the Legislature, entitled; No. 9. An Ordinance for the Regulation of Ferries andBridgesManuscript image Bridges. I add the Report of the Attorney General.
2. This Ordinance was introduced by the Attorney General on the Representations made to me by Mr Justice Begbie on his return from circuit in the Kootenay District in the autumn of 1865. I enclose copy of a minute addressed to me by Mr Begbie on the subject.
