Sir,
With reference to my despatch No. 1 of 2nd of January last I have the honor to acquaint you that the Crown Agents paid to the credit of Naval Services on the 7th instant the sum of £69.18.2 for supplies made to the Bentinck Arm Expedition for the Michaelmas Quarter 1864—together with £3.9.8 being the per centage charged on these stores.

The Agents have also paid the further sum of £2.11.0 for clothing supplied to the Expedition by Her Majesty's Ship "Sutlej."
I have to request that you will cause these sums to be repaid to the Crown Agents.
