I have received and laid before the Queen two Ordinances passed by the Legislature of British Columbia in the month of March 1866 entitled respectively No. 5 of 1866 "An Ordinance to amend the Law relating to Joint Stock Companies" And No. 6 of 1866 "An Ordinance regulating the investment of Sinking Funds of Public Loans"whichManuscript image which were transmitted to me in the despatches noted in the margin,

and I am commanded to inform you that Her Majesty has been graciously pleased to sanction and confirm them.
You will communicate Her Majesty's decision with respect to these Ordinances to the inhabitants of British Columbia in the usual and most authentic manner.
