I have received and laid before the Queen the Ordinance No. 15, passed by the Legislature of British Columbia at its last Session entitled "An Ordinance for the regulation of Pilotage" which accompanied Mr. Birch's Despatch,No.Manuscript image No. 44, of the 1st June, and I am commanded to inform you that Her Majesty has been Graciously pleased to sanction and confirm it.
You will communicate Her Majesty's decision with respect to this Ordinance to the inhabitants of the Colony under your Government in the usual and most authentic manner.
