My Lord,
I have the honor to forward a letter from Mr Watson,
late Treasurer of Vancouver Island, requesting remuneration for
the additional work and responsibility castupon

payments and keeping accounts of the extra pay and allowances
granted to the Royal Marines stationed at San Juan.

Secretary of Vancouver Island upon the subject.

for Mr Watson's case rests very much on what he
