My Lord Duke,
I have the honor to forward an authenticated and two plain copies of an Ordinance of the late Session of the Legislature of this Colony entitled;No 21Manuscript image No 21. An Ordinance to render uniform the laws establishing a decimal system of Accounts and regulating the Currency of the Colony. The Attorney General's report is enclosed.

Currency Ordinance. This Ordinance applies to the whole of the Colony the B. Columbia Ordinances of 1865 & 1866 with the exception that no mention is made of the florin which in the Ordinance of 1865 (SS 8) was made a legal tender for 50 cents. Sanction.
