With reference to letters from this Office of 26th July 1867 and your reply dated 8th February 1867, respecting a claim on the Colony of British Columbia amounting to £141.1.3, I am directed by Secretary Sir John Pakington to enquire whether any further steps have been taken towards the settlement of the Claim.
