Sir,
With reference to your letter of the 26th July last, respecting a claim for £141.1.3 against the Governor of British Columbia for Stores supplied by the War Department, I am directed by Secretary Sir John Pakington to request that you will notify to this Office whether any reply has been received to the application made to the Governor, respecting the settlement of the claim.
