Sir,
I am directed by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury to acquaint you, for the information of the Secretary of State, with reference to your letter of 4th inst., enclosing a statement with vouchers showing the payment by the Colonial Government of British Columbia during the year 1867 of the sum of £164.10.1 on account of pensions and gratuities granted by the Imperial Government, that My Lords have forwarded theAccountsManuscript image Accounts and Vouchers to the War Office, and requested that after the same have been examined the amount due to the Colony may be paid to the Crown Agents.
