Sir Arthur Edward Kennedy having intimated that his Commission as Governor of Vancouver Island had, for necessary purposes, been left with the Local Government when he quitted that Island, I have to request that you will transmit the Instrument to me, as it isnecessaryManuscript image necessary to produce it at the Inland Revenue Office with a view to the cancelling of the Stamp.
