Sir,
On the 24th August last, in my Despatch No. 50 I forwarded to you a copy of a letter addressed by the Postmaster General to the Treasury suggesting certain improvements of the Postal Service betweentheManuscript image the United Kingdom and British Columbia.
I have not received any reply to that Despatch and now transmit to you a copy of a further letter from the Post Office on the same subject, from which you will learn that the Postmaster General is anxious to learn whether your Government agrees to the proposals embodied in his former letter of the 12th August.
I request that youwillManuscript image will as soon as possible Report to me the views of your Government in this matter.
