Sir,
I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your despatch No. 94 of the 6th August enclosing an Ordinance to incorporate the Society of the Sisters of St. Ann of the City of Victoria, in the Colony ofBritishManuscript image British Columbia, for Educational purposes.
In reply I have to inform you that for the reasons stated by the Attorney General I consider the Ordinance objectionable, and that I am compelled therefore to disallow it.
