My Lord,
I have the honor to forward an Authenticated and two plain Copies of an Ordinance of the late Session of the Legislature of this Colony, entitled;No. 8.Manuscript image No. 8. An Ordinance to regulate the Supreme Courts of Justice of British Columbia.
2. The Report of the Attorney General seems sufficiently explanatory. I trust that this Ordinance, to which I have assented, will meet with your Lordship's approval.

It was passed in deference to the opinion of the S. of State & without the uns approval of the Legislative Council. See their petition 5581.
